John Quinn has been practicing law since 1984. After Law School, Mr. Quinn trained at one of the preeminent Product Liability and Medical Malpractice law firms in Manhattan. He left that firm to become the Lead Trial Associate in a Park Avenue Plaintiff's Law Firm trying medical malpractice cases. In these early stages of his career he benefited from working with and learning from some of the best personal injury trial attorneys in the area.
In 1988 John Quinn left his practice in Manhattan to join Christopher Renfroe in forming Renfroe & Quinn in Queens, returning to his roots as he was born and raised in Astoria and graduated from St. John's University.
John Quinn has always worked on the side of victims, striving to obtain justice for the injured and recover full compensation for the damages caused by others. Over the years he has successfully championed the causes of hundreds of victims collecting millions of dollars in compensation. His experience is not limited to trials as he has had significant success in the Appellate Courts of our State, including a Court of Appeals (the highest Court in our State) decision which is often cited by others on the questions of experts, summary judgment and products liability. Mr. Quinn is admitted and practices in all the Courts of New York State as well as the U.S. Federal Courts in Brooklyn, New York and Long Island.
John Quinn has used his experience in the specialized area of medical malpractice to secure substantial recoveries for victims of medical negligence in practically every area of medicine, including obstetrics & gynecology, surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmology, family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology and oncology.
